Software in two fields.

ARCUS Engineering builds technical software in two clearly distinct fields. On one side, our daily engineering practice produces specialised tools for structural calculation, fire-protection verification and planning automation. On the other, we deliver custom software solutions on client commission for the energy sector, municipal utilities and other technically demanding industries.

What connects both fields: our development team is made up of engineers who validate their own software in real project work every day. That is the decisive difference from a classic IT service provider.

Engineering software

Off-the-shelf software does not solve special problems. When codes, verification procedures or project geometries fall outside the standard range, we build the tool that is needed.

BIM as an application area

BIM: workflow automation and model quality.

For ARCUS, BIM is an application area of our software competence, not a stand-alone product. We develop automation scripts, model-checking routines and interface tools that save design teams time and secure model quality. This includes scan-to-BIM processes (laser scanning to an IFC-compliant as-built model), AIA and BAP authoring, and the automated linking of BIM models with calculation programs.
